What do you require in order to be able to submit an offer?
As a matter of course, all documents available are required. The more information we
receive, the better we can work. All data can be gathered by means of a sample, of course, but this is comparatively time-consuming.
Can we also provide you with a sample for the fabrication?
Yes, of course. This is a good means of avoiding misinterpretations. Possibly some of the mechanical parts can be re-used.
Will I receive a sample exactly identical in construction?
As a matter of course, we try to realise this as well as possible, especially with respect to the layout of the decor foil and to the mechanical dimensions. However, there are often minor
variations, e.g. in colour shades (especially if they have changed in the course of the service life of the keyboard), fonts (in case they are not available or not exactly defined) or similar
things. Generally, names/marks of the previous manufacturer are not adopted. The same applies to the exact layout of the printed circuit board, as we make a point of not producing
copies. Moreover, we try to use modern components in order to guarantee a long-life cycle. Often components equipped with wires are replaced by modern SMD-technology. A definite
attribution to the respective manufacturer for warranty reasons is always possible, of course.
Which printing technique do you use: Digital or screen printing?
This depends on the dimensions on the one hand and on the requirements on the other. We
can offer you both methods on principle, whereas especially with small piece numbers the digital printing is a budget-priced alternative. More information is available per mouse click
