How many switching cycles are specified for snap domes? And what sizes do exist?

Generally, we standardly use a type of snap domes well-tried in practice for years produced by one of the leading manufacturers in the domain of contact technology, which are gold-plated in the contact region.
We specify the 1m switching cycles that are standard industrial practice, based upon a life-time test acc. to DIN 42115, whereas tests have shown that the values obtained may be a lot higher and depending on the kind of operation, a multiple of this value can be reached.

We would like to illustrate the dimensions with the help of the following calculating example:
Under the assumption of
   5 working days per week and
   50 working weeks per year and
   200 key actuations per working day,
1 m switching cycles are reached only after 20 years, which lies considerably above the typical product life-time of an industrial product.
